The external dimensions of cabin luggage should not exceed a maximum length of 56cm, width of 45cm and depth of 25cm for most global carriers. These measurements should include wheels, handles and external pockets. Low-cost budget airlines will only accept one carry-on item up to 55 x 40 x 20 cm with a 7-10 kg weight restriction.
